Can I kick It?

In retrospect, the line "Mr. Dinkins would you please be our mayor/you'd be doing us a really big favor?" off of Tribe Called Quest's 1990 release People's Instinctive Travels and the Paths of Rhythm is absolutely hilarious...and I suspect unintentionally so.
