Eat your heart out Eisenstein and De Palma. Took a day trip yesterday to Odessa for some bidness. Of course I took time to go see the infamous "Potemkin Stairs" pictured above. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any baby carriages to put in the shot. I did some research after returning last night and it seems that there never really was a massacre at the stairs during the Potemkin mutiny (it occured in different parts of town), no matter, as these stairs now live in infamy thanks to early cinema.
