Rich Man/Poor Man

Had the iPod on shuffle this morning when The Communards 1986 cover of "Don't Leave Me This Way" came on. About a minute and a half into it, I realized that Sarah Jane Morris is really just a poor man's Alf Moyet.

This led me to wonder if Jimmy Somerville is really just a poor man's Vince Clarke.

Yes, these are the inane things I think about when I should be working.
